Outdoor cooking is just...amazing.
In the garden it's great - but in the wild, it's even better.
Packing light is a must - you can venture further as well as experience a cooking style that's a little more primitive.
Here's the kit you need for an incredible outdoor cooking experience:
🔥 Tabletop BBQ / Fire Pit
A lot of places an open fire is not an option. Having a lightweight BBQ or fire pit is super helpful. My current go-to is the Wolf & Grizzly fire pit - because, it packs SO small and SO light. Other options are the THUROS T1 or the Weber Go-Anywhere.
🔪 Pocket Knife
If you've got one good knife, you're set. My current pocket knife is the Opinel No10. It's the perfect size, looks great, sharp as anything, and the price is definitely right!
🏷 Wooden Board
Taking a big 'ole wooden board with you is a massive win. It's great for prepping veggies, and then with a wipe and/or a turn you've got a wonderful surface to serve your finished dish. It's impressive looking and great for the 'GRAM!
💦 Water Bottle
You're gonna need water for drinking, cooking, cleaning. We normally fill a 5-litre bottle that has a handle. Does the job and works great.
🧺 Picnic Blanket / Tarp
Having something like this is super helpful for laying stuff out, sitting on, and just generally being comfier....oh and again - looks great for the 'gram!
Great post - especially for me now with the little ones. Need to remember this for next year!
